  • Naturalization Ceremonies

    Helps the Naturalization Ceremonies Coordinator with strategies and outreach for registering and inspiring new citizens to vote. Works to recruit and educate volunteers for all ceremonies.

  • Publicity

    Works with the Communication Director to promote the League by creating social media posts, printed flyers, media advisories and whatever else is needed to get the word out.

  • Volunteer Action Team

    Identifies member interests, alerts members to volunteer opportunities that align with those interests and tracks volunteer activity.

  • Student Civic Engagement

    Supports social studies teachers to bring a unique civics course to high school classrooms and collaborates with community organizations to boost student knowledge and participation in our democracy.

    Recruits, welcomes and guides new members through social events, education and outreach.

    Identifies future League leaders, recommends members for committee positions and presents a slate of officers and directors for election at the Annual Meeting.

  • VOTE411

    Helps local voters make informed choices by publishing an online Voters' Guide as part of VOTE411.org, the League's "one-stop" election information site. Designs questions for candidates in Salt Lake, Summit and Wasatch County and initiates outreach to encourage candidate responses.

  • Stand Up for Democracy Event

    Collaborates with diverse community partners to plan and host a summer event to celebrate democracy and voting rights through music, speakers and performers.
